Will Mej Mej fabric wall decals stick to textured walls?
Our decals work for every wall from flat to cinderblock, but if you are unsure or have unusually textured walls, we can send you our free Stickiness-Sample Kit. It includes 3 different adhesive fabrics, each of which is a little ‘stickier’ than the other. (All 3 are still repositionable and won’t leave any residue!) You can try each one and let us know which one works best for your walls. You can order the free Stickiness Sample Kit here.
How fast can my order arrive?
Because each fabric decal set is individually printed, die-cut and shipped from our Virginia Beach studio, the processing time is 3 business days. U.S. orders are shipped via UPS unless unavailable in your area. Your decals will arrive within 1-5 business days after processing, ready for the big install! Need them faster for a big birthday reveal? Expedited service is available at an additional charge.
International shipments are shipped through UPS or DHL and usually take 4-7 days for delivery. All VAT taxes and fees will be included and paid in full at checkout. No surprise fees upon arrival.
May I return them if they don’t work in my space?
Every order comes with our 100% Happiness Guarantee! If you aren’t 100% happy with your order, you can return it for a full refund. We can only accept returns when the decals are in their original unused condition. If your set was damaged during shipping, please contact us at service@mejmej.com and we will send a label right away so that you can return them for a replacement. We cannot accept returns on custom orders with personalization or custom colors, but don’t worry, you will have a chance to approve your customization before printing begins.
How long do I need to wait for paint to dry before installing?
We know it’s hard to wait sometimes. We hear you! But you will need to wait at least 2 weeks after painting your walls to make sure that they are completely cured. This is important for your decals to have a long life.
How do I remove the decals? And can I save them to take to a new house?
We have found through testing over time, that our fabric decals can simply be peeled from the wall no matter how long they have been installed. Absolutely no sticky residue will be left, so you can simply dust your wall and start a fun new room redux! Or, you can place the decals back onto their original backing and take them to your new home. If you no longer have the backing, reach out to us for some fresh backing. In a rush? Just place your decals on the slick side of butcher paper or parchment paper and they can travel with you to your new adventure.

Update: after I commented that I wish there were an even number of left and right birds, the seller offered to send me more birds so I could have an even pattern! And they will be fixing the pattern so all orders now get an even number of birds! Awesome customer service, thank you!!
We bought the big birds and these little ones. they are all so cute! The big birds were perfectly cut out and I had no problem removing them from the paper. The little birds got a little stuck around the claws and tore a little bit but you can't see it from afar. We received 12 left facing birds and 6 right facing birds. I do wish they were split evenly, 9 left and 9 right. It would have made it easier for me to make an even pattern the birds.
